Hardware is in our DNA
I’m a Computer Engineer who understands hardware deep within the silicon. For me, electronics aren’t just tools; they are a passion. I’ve spent years messing around with circuits, building high-performance rigs, and understanding exactly what makes a component reliable.
I am a price-conscious person. I believe that you shouldn’t have to overpay just to get quality, and I know there are thousands of people like me who want the best value for their money. I built PCMIX to be the store I wanted to shop at.
Not Everything Makes the Cut
Most resellers sell whatever comes through their door. We don’t.
At PCMIX, our testing is brutal. Only 60% of the products we source actually pass our quality checks. If a component shows even a hint of instability or wear, it is rejected from our store.
What happens to the other 40%? Those products are sent elsewhere to be repaired and sold by other vendors as “Refurbished.” We don’t deal in repairs. We deal in excellence.
Open-Box is NOT Refurbished
It is important to understand the difference:
- Refurbished: These are products that were broken, repaired, and put back together. They have a history of failure.
- PCMIX Open-Box: These are near-new products. They might have been display units or had their packaging opened, but the “insides” are pristine. They have never been repaired, never been soldered, and never been compromised.
